If your hotel is near the city center, you can visit the Tiananmen Square, however, suggest you leave the Forbidden City to the next day, although the palace is just behind the Tiananmen tower, leave it to the second day, for the Palace is too huge.
Day 2 : Today you can visit the Forbidden City, you can by a taxi and ask the driver to the Forbidden City Wumen Gate.
It is a long walk, you need to walk though the Forbidden City.
You also can visit the Beihai Park that is not far from the Jinshan Park.
From the Baihai park you can by a taxi to the subway station and then by subway to the Summer Palace.
At night, you can go to watch the Beijing acrobatic show at Beijing Chaoyang theater.
Day 3. You can rent a car to visit Great Wall.
Beijing Ming Tomb is not far from the Great Wall. For the Wall and Tomb is far from the city of Beijing, so that need one day time.
Day 4 . You can not miss the Beijing Hutong and Sichahai Lake
Beijing Lama Temple is not far from the Hutong area.
